Who am I?

My name is Mike Carhart-Harris. I am a PR campaigns manager at the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI), the charity that saves lives at sea, based in Dorset, England. I previously worked for nine years as a senior communications officer in local government. For the eight years before that, I was a music and film journalist. I am an Accredited Practitioner with the Chartered Institute of Public Relations.

I believe communications should be open, honest, clear, truthful and help to make things better for people.

Pretty simple. But so am I.
